Halloween has already come and gone in Utah!

Kris just wrote to us and said, "We were in the other room talking when we heard this "auction" kind of talk going on. Here is what we found..."

Look at those intense little faces.  Such serious stuff.

This is so so cute! I agree with Sharon's comment above--this is a whole new level of trading Halloween candy. Love it! Love, Dad and Susan

And is Rachel just the sweetest?!!!

We used to trade candy, but that was way out of our league! Quite a sophisticated group!

=D

That Rachel is adorable.

Those kids are so clever. Wish I could have been there to swap candy.

I love it!

And I've missed visiting here so I'm off to read back now.
We were away for awhile, and I just tried to 'blog' about our trip but none of my pictures would load. Oh well. Gives me more time to read here!
All the best,
Eileen

Oh, Jill, I just read back on the posts I've missed, and I both laughed and cried. And learned some new things.
I was sad to read about the elderly and 'Skype' friends. It gave me such a lonely feeling. I guess it's wonderful that modern times can create these sort of 'modern friends', but it still breaks my heart to think of having to pay for friendship/company.

I loved Brock's post about Cami and about joyfully anticipating the new baby. And I agree with him about 'normal'. Our daughter Ellie was born with Hydrocephalus, but it didn't really manifest until she was ten years old. But I KNEW from the moment I brought her home from the hospital that my baby girl was NOT 'normal'. I told anyone that would listen (doctors, nurses, teachers, family, and friends) but they all thought I was comparing her to my older children who they felt were over-achievers. But I knew better, I couldn't put my finger on it, but I knew that she was not normal.
And I loved how Brock described Cami as perfect.
God Bless Cami! And God Bless her parents!

Very excited to read about Kris and Kim on the Nate show! And they were in my neck of the woods too! I hope they had a wonderful time! And thanks for sharing it here, I was away for the actual show so this was nice to catch it here!
And thanks for the update on Robbie, I was just talking to my husband about the little guy the other day.

I was surprised to see that my grandchildrens names are among the most popular (Jayden and Mia Rose)! And if our new grandchild is a girl she will be named Sohie (and I see that Sophia is another popular one)!

And I was surprised to see the long list of ailments we may have in store for us! I guess it's something I knew, but seeing it listed like that was surprising!

Oh, and I STILL DOUBLE SPACE! But I notice the computer sometimes 'fixes' that! I guess I'm really old-fashioned and I think it looks terrible not to see double spaces between complete sentences! I don't think I'll be able to change.

I loved the photos of your sons and 'your daughters' (I have a friend who refuses to call her daughter-in-law a 'daughter-in-law', she calls her a 'daughter-in-love'). And I love that you prayed for their wives from the time they were little. I wish I had done that with my children.

Always such a Blessing visiting here, Jill.
All the best,
Eileen
PS ~ I'll probably get admonished from Blogger about my long comment again. 'Hope it goes through. And I'll visit more often so I don't have to do this to you again!

I remember my kids trading candy but there was never one that headed it up, which I'm surprised Tony didn't because he was always the instigator. Cute way to do a candy auction!
