What a fun date. Did they end up camping out up there?
I love those banana boats. They are soooo good.

That's a great camping adventure out there in the wilderness. Sounded like you were next to a motorcycle raceway.

fyi, McKenna they sell can openers at Target...at Williams Sonoma they send a valet to open the can for you.

Also, what's wrong with girlie kids non-campers?...McKay and I come from a long line of such types. We're living proof that natural selection is a myth.

You're right, Dennis, the background sounds weren't water rushing in the creek or wind rustling through the trees. They are definitely a cute couple having a Friday Night Date though. Loved it.

This looks like a fun Friday night date! They look like they had fun. Did they end up sleeping out under the stars?

I don't know.
I don't see any sleeping bags, so I hope not. :)

We didn't sleep under the stars because we didn't have sleeping bags yet (but we did just get some as a late wedding present!) and it started to rain!
Also McKay and I just laughed for like ten minutes about Richard's comment. But just so you know, Richard, we bought two can openers from Target that broke and sliced my finger open before we went to Williams Sonoma and bought a beaut for 10 dollars.

Grandpa must have started it. What do you have to say for yourself Grandpa?

What? No tent? They are adorable though. What does Richard have against Williams Sonoma? That's where all girl type campers shop...l.o.l.

AAhhhh, Enoch and I camped a lot as newlyweds so that is what we have decided to do for our anniversary this year- to relive the magic, haha.

And Mckay, its ok if you're not a true mountain man, but you must always be a family camper.

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
