Paul Cardall

He's 36, has a wife and little girl, and he's on Day 380 waiting for a heart transplant.

He writes incredible music that we often play in our home and car. It's mood alterating. Spiritual. Sweet. Sometimes it puts me in a trance of thought.

I've loved his music long before I discovered his blog. I had no idea he was sick.

Here's his blog link. Whenever I read it, I count my blessings.

The second song, Green Hill, is my absolute most favorite hymn.

I love his music too. We have a couple of his cds. In fact, that is the cd that we wake up to in the mornings. I only found out about his heart condition a couple of months ago. He has such a cute family! Thanks for sharing your love of his music.

I love his music as well...The thing I love about his blog...I have been following it for a long time, but he is NEVER negative about anything. ALWAYS positive! It makes me want to be more positive as does his music.

I agree with you Ammy. I am just in awe over him and how he views his life. He truly is filled with the eternal perspective.

This family has been in the local news alot lately. Pauls father is a KSL Channel 5 executive and occasional on air personality. Pauls brother recently died in a taser confrontation with police near St. George. He was a married grad student on vacation but off his mental illness meds. He was acting irrationally and when the police couldn't reason with him they tasered him with fatal results. It was big news in Utah.

Paul Cardall's music is beautiful, and I too like your favorite hymn, Jill. It's very moving, as is his story.
I will add Paul and his family to my prayer list.
All the best,
Eileen

Jill-

Please hurry over to my blog before midnight and sign up for my 300-post anniversary giveaway! (It ends at 11:59 PM.) There's a link to it on every one of my last few posts, so you can find it easily. The thing is, one way to get an extra entry for your name in the drawing (besides commenting) was to tell me about a neat new blog I hadn't seen before, and this one by Paul Cardall definitely qualifies. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Thanks!

=)
