Fridays with Cam Cam (and the colorful pet)

"That can't be Grandma Honey here!
I'm not ready for school to be over yet."
"School is just too much fun!"

Camers just loves Teacher Bethany.
And teacher Jennifer, too.

And teacher Loni! And teacher Monica, but she left before I could get her picture. Time to say goodbye, and go to Grandma Honey's for lunch and a nappy.

"Where's my lunch? I don't think I can wait much longer."

Camers is still recovering from stomach surgery so her food has to be pureed. She loved our leftovers from last night (looked better when we ate it), plus a fresh pureed nectarine!

"Ohhhh yummo!"
"More please."
(She's doing really good with her signing lately during mealtime.)

"I knew it would be good."

Nighty Night, sweet little Cam Cam.

Good thing Cami was rested because later that day, they got a new pet.
What was it???

These pictures of Cami are sure adorable! I loved your caption for the first picture. She sure has that expression like she's not ready to leave school yet. Cami sure enjoys school and you can tell that those teachers love her!! I'm sure she must enjoy lunch at your house just like everyone else does!! You are one awesome grandma!

This is so sweet Jill. When does school start up again for Cami? If no school, what plans does Erin have for the summer? You are not only lucky to have these special times, but Erin and Cami (and Elora) are lucky to have you. Love, Dad and Susan

And she looks like she enjoys just about everything! What a happy, joyful child.
Thanks for posting these pictures.
Biggest smile I've had so far today! She does my heart good.

You must have added the "pet" pictures after I left the above comment. A peacock should be an interesting pet. You'll have to keep us posted on that one. Elora looks so much like Erin in this picture but I also see the younger you from your childhood pictures!

How did I miss the peacock first time I was here???!!
It's beautiful, but do they make for good pets? I've never heard of anyone having a peacock for a pet. How exciting!
This has got to be the most interesting blog I visit!!

Very cool. A peacock! One of my best friends growing up had a peacock on her ranch. A beautiful sight, though it didn't often perform on demand...

=)

Look what happened last night
