What a way to ask!

I saw these posted on the way to the Post Office yesterday.
I have no idea who this is from, or who it is for, but I hope it got asked to the right girl!

I wish I knew the beginning of this story, and the ending...what if she said no??

All I have is the middle.

It's frustrating being so curious.

So Cute! What if five girls text him that they'd be thrilled to go with him to the prom? Haha. Susan

I saw these bright pink signs a mile away on my way to work. What a cute way to ask someone. I wonder how the person knew it was for them and who it was from.

We just went through the Prom thing last week. The boys work so hard to come up with creative ways to ask their dates. Jacob hid a message in a box of goldfish crackers: "Out of all the fish in the sea, I choose you to go to Prom with me." Accompanied with balloons and a plastic tiara, of course! Ah, to be young again!

I sure hope the right girl got this message! Now you've got my curiosity up. Let us know if you find out who it is :-)

well...let's hope that when you pass through the veil you'll be able to glean more than meets the eye in the next phase of our existence. I suppose you can create your own happy ending and it is super cute of whoever posted those signs. I thought it was McKay's proposal at first glance. Thanks for the smile I need one to turn my frowny face around & it worked!

Ah, Prom. I forgot how big of a deal that was.

But I do remember the thrill of being asked creatively. It was so fun--wondering who exactly had set up the asking, secretly hoping for one particular person, then finding out it was exactly who I hoped for--good times.

I can imagine this getting very confusing--without names, you know. Lots of girls could get their hopes up and ask their boyfriends if this was for them. How embarrassing to tell those girls, "Nope not for you, but hey, wanna go anyway?" Or worse, "Nope, I actually asked this other girl last week." Or,"Hey, we need to talk." OR even worse, lying about it, "Uh, sure sweetie. Yeah, so, what do you think?"

I'm really having fun imagining these awkward situations. But what can I say, I do have a squirrelly streak.

PS When I saw the first sign I thought someone was asking someone to marry them. Isn't it a bit strange for high school kids to start out with I love you? They grow up so fast. LOL

I was thinking the same thing as the Mortensens above me. I thought it was going to be a marriage proposal. Not a prom date!

And she's right. Kids are growing up very quickly these days...

So creative! Maybe the (pink) signs are made by a girl asking a boy.
Are all your utility poles made of steel? And what are those metal boxes on shorter wooden posts?

Now that McKay is engaged, don't you think you should change his picture?

the metal boxes are community mail boxes. those are not utility poles, they are light posts. Utility wires are typically underground in newer built areas such as this one, other wise the utility poles are wooden, depending on the type of utility purpose.
