The Shawaer
By Logan

One day a kide got in trubul. He did't want to tack a shawaer. His mom wanted him to tack a shawaer but he did not so he ran away. Then a rane cloud came apon his hed. It rained on him. He came home his mom seid go tack a shawaer. But mom I all redee did. Oh. By mom. I am going hunting. When you come home you haf to take a shawaer. Ok mom. And they lived hapallee ever after.
The end.

Look what his wise teacher wrote at the top of his story.
I'm not sure when Logan wrote this...probably 2nd grade.
See he got a star. Logan's always been a star to me!
Oh my goodness, he will be 30 next month!

As long as she's at it, we'll have Hailey help Logan with his spelling too.

Richard has quite the sense of humor. Logan's story is a perfect example of what I said about Amy's spelling on her chart...most people can read words without them being spelled correctly. I read Logan's story without even having to think about it. Great work for a second grader. He deserved that star!!

Well I'm not sure he wrote it in 2nd grade. There is no date on it. Maybe he wrote it in nursing school.

Did you get your sense of humor from Richard or vice versa? :-)))

I'm sorry, I thought that was Logan's senior term paper...it all makes more sense now.
