Logan's garden and Amy update

I am impressed. Logan has been working hard getting his family garden ready. He has done lots of research and now he is going for it. When I heard he was starting a garden I got quite excited, and Austin standing next to me said, "Well the leaders of our church have told us we should do this." Yep, that's right.

As for Amy. She is still dilated to a 2, and she is 75% effaced. She takes her last "stop the contractions" pill tonight! Tomorrow she will be 36 weeks! We are all so thankful the babies are still enjoying their very cramped home. But not for long...

Amy thinks she will go another 2-3 weeks and then have to be induced. I think not.

I am impressed too. What he is going to plant in the garden? Does he share? LOL

I am excited for Amy but also nervous. Is 36 weeks long enough? I don't remember all of this stuff anymore. I hope all goes well and that the babies are okay. I hope you post pictures the minute you can.

pole beans, watermelon, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet corn, broccoli, yellow squash, zucchini, bell peppers, carrots, strawberries, cabbage, celery, cauliflower, spinach, cilantro.

Its a work in progress. I'm planting along the fence by the pool and on the other side of the yard too. My seedlings are still growing out of peat pots. I'm doing my best to maximize my output. I'm sure I'll have some to share if I don't completely fail. But the lord is on my side since I commissioned the kids to pray that the plants will grow.

She made it! Yeah! That's so AWESOME and can't wait to hear in your post when those babies arrive!

Logans going first class I mean to build up retainer walls & everything? That's really impressive, not to mention his garden is a NUTRITIONISTS dream! Prayings good too! Sounds like the month of April is going SPRING forward for Logan & Amy. Exciting.

My grandmothers and my mom all grew beautiful gardens, honest-to-goodness green thumbs. Somehow my sister and I ended up with black thumbs! I kill anything I touch. When we bought our house, there were 2 lovely gardens in the backyard and we tried our best to keep them going for a few years. I bought books, studied, asked advice, haunted nurseries, worked hard with my family, and still killed it all.

Thankfully, our stake is planning a community garden. Maybe if we work alongside seasoned gardeners, we'll finally get it!

As for Amy, we're all waiting with bated breath for the birth of those babies. We're keeping a prayer in our hearts for them all!

I'm impressed with Logan and Amy wanting to do a garden. That is great and with their large family it sure comes in handy. You'll have to keep posting updates on the progress of their garden like you have with their pregnancy. As for Amy...it's great that she has come this far and been such a trooper with the discomfort. This is definitely an answer to a lot of prayers. Hey, maybe you'll get your twin grandbabies on your birthday!
