They certainly make a cute couple. He's handsome, she's beautiful. AND, she cuts hair! Love, Dad and Susan

McKenna did a great job!! Cutting hair with scissors is how I learned and it sure came in handy with Craig and having three sons. It sure saves a lot of money! McKay seems happy with his haircut!

McKenna is a natural at cutting hair.

Tyler is too scared to let me try with just scissors.

Karen: maybe he would let you try if you had McKenna onsite to supervise.

Clippers intimidate me more than using scissors does.

McKenna did a great job!

Nice job, McKenna! I have NO talent when it comes to working with hair, so I'm impressed by people who do.

By the way, I was reading the March Ensign today. At the end of one sweet story I was surprised to see that the author was Tyler Heasley of California. Interestingly enough, his wife's name is Karen. Not a coincidence, I think! Did I miss an announcement of Tyler's accomplishment? It was a wonderful article!

McKenna did a great job! Cute post!

I've been reading back on all I've missed and I've really enjoyed all your posts. Looking at the old photos is wonderful, I enjoy it so much when bloggers take a walk down Memory Lane!

The 911 call almost had me in a panic! What a smart, brave little boy! I have been teaching Jayden about calling 911 and we have been talking about 'emergency' calls.

The quotes you gave from 'When Times Are Tough' were great and I am copying some of them into my prayer journal and I will look for the book. Thanks for sharing that.

I really enjoyed Jonas phone call, that was an adorable post! And I also enjoyed Kim & Kris' first episode. I love pin cushions, and I remember going through my grandmother's big sewing basket when I was little and looking at the collection she had. A lot she had made herself, and she used to crochet little covers for them. My Mom had only one, it was a big, red apple. Thanks for the memories.
I thought the girls did a wonderful job, and I loved the question about the Osmonds! (And I loved the idea of a magnet in the pin cushion).

And most of all, I loved 'Bronson's Miracle' and if you don't mind I'm going to post about it and share it with my blogger friends. Beautiful story of Faith, and hope, and support, and love.

Wonderful reading here, Jill, as always!
All the best to you and yours,
Eileen

Thank you for all your great comments. As always, I very much appreciate it!

MARY...Amy's Mom saw Tyler's article in the Ensign, and called Amy, and she called me Saturday night. I have not seen it or read it yet. I'm hoping my Ensign comes today!! It's in the April issue but in Calif we get it later than Utah, and apparently later than AZ.

EILEEN...You are always welcome to take whatever you want from my blog. I really enjoyed reading all your comments about past blogs. My mother had only one pin cushion too and it was a large red tomato. That was the only kind I had seen back then.

Nice job McKenna! I cut Mike's hair all the time now- we've had some good experiences and a few bad ones. ha, ha. But he's always been so good to me, even when in the beginning I didn't do it perfectly. It has saved us a lot of money over the years! ;)

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
