The best time to go to the movies

is about 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon.

No waiting in line for tickets.

No waiting to get her popcorn

No sharing the chipmunks with the other customers

She didn't bother anyone with her spilt popcorn

And once the lights came semi-back on, Elora got to try out all the seats she wanted to.
If you look really close I think you can see her little eyes.

I was thinking at best I would be able to tolerate the Chipmunks Sequel, but it actually was not bad.

And what would an afternoon with Grandma Honey be without a Jamba Juice of Peach Perfection!

Jamba wasn't raking in the customers either.  I like the ghost town feel.

btw,  these were all Elora's poses.  I just snapped away.

Jill, those pics made me laugh! It looks like Clovis was deserted! Elora had such a great time that day.

WOW! Elora looks more and more like Erin every time I see a picture of her. She's a lucky gal to get to look like her mom.

Glad you two had fun! I know Elora was really looking forward to the "squeak-uel" (or whatever they were calling it).

Those pics are great. Good thing she got the photo-taking gene from her mom.

Karen, I know Elora was talking about going to see that movie in December when you were here. Next we need to start working on her Gingerbread house!

Oh, looks like so much fun! Those are great pictures, too. I can't get over how much she looks like Erin. Such a beautiful young lady.

That theatre looks like you rented it out for a two-person party :-) Elora does look like her mom!! You are a very fun grandma!!! Thanks for sharing your activity.

No kidding! I'll have to remember to go at that time; mid week!

She looks more like you every day only with differrent color hair. Maybe we should try dying her hair black, huh? You could be TWINS!

You know...I never really thought about having a grandmother and spending time with her because I never had one nearby. BUt today, I realized that I can live that dream through Elora and you! What an INCREDIBLE INCREDIBLE blessing you two have.

COOL POST! Elora looks so HAPPY & SOOOO PRETTY! She actually reminds me of Jacki in the way they both have big SPIRITS & Intelligence.

Jill, When Nellie and I go to the movies at Sierra Vista during the week, that's how it looks for us too. I thought we were the only ones that got the theatre to ourselves.

Love, love, love the pictures! She is photogenic, isn't she?

Love, Susan

She is so beautiful! What a fun little outing and I agree with the others, you are both so lucky to have each other so close. I love the feel of an empty theater. Kev and I went to a movie one morning soon after Jack was born. We were running late, so we were worried about finding a spot. We were the only ones there! They didn't even start the movie until we got settled in our seats. Jack slept almost the entire time, but when he woke up I was able to just nurse him without bothering anyone. Maybe it's the hermit in me, but I like the ghost town feel=)
