Meant to happen

My sons had been praying for years that this would happen. Just today, in the mail, I received this picture taken this past January 2nd.

Here they are in front of the Mesa Temple in Arizona. McKay, Tyler, Brock and their grandparents. Logan wanted to be there also but couldn't get away from work.

They were trying to figure out a way to make it to Arizona so they could be with their grandparents for this long awaited day. McKay and Tyler were in the Salt Lake City airport waiting to board a flight home to Fresno for Christmas. The plane was overstocked...overboarded....what do you call it? Too many people and not enough seats. So two people were asked if they would be willing to wait for a later flight. McKay and Tyler volunteered. They were given a voucher for a future flight which paid for both their trips to Arizona and part of Brock's!

What strapping young men in their white shirts and ties! You did something very right. Those boys could have done anything with the extra ticket but they decided to go visit their grandparents and the temple. They fit my description of a STUDS! I have never been into bad boys and have always had a soft spot for the really good boys. Well done Jill!

Now we just need to get them to California to be sealed somehow. I don't know if I'll make it home when McKay is planning to go, but we'll see.

I know that prayers are always answered especially when there is a righteous desire. Their Grandparents look so proud in that picture. You have raised such neat young men Jill. It shows what kind of mother you were and still are today. I really look up to you and hope I can instill in my kids the desire to live righteously.

Look what happened last night

Just a little pre-graduating gathering for our DIL Amy.... Not everyday a Mom of 7 and a Grandma of 7, graduates from college. It was not ...
